ON SALE

The day had just dawned in.She was busy checking the notes handed over to her by her last customer one by one, removed out the purse tucked inside her blouse and carefully kept the money in it. slowly she went near the mirror .Perhaps she disbelieved her own reflection. The lady in front of her in the green damask sari looked helpless. She touched her pale face and the large red bindi adorning her forehead that had its existence only till the next customer arrived. She took her green pallu in hand that was soon to be torn and stared at  the wide conveying eyes that was dried of the tears

People called her with different names..all that she knew that she was a loser... she lost to herself in the game of life
being touched is not what she loved , but she was forced to sell herself to earn a living
Born to an insolvent father, education was no less than a dream for her.
stuck by poverty, this journey started as a domestic help.
Right from childhood she faced the cruel face of the fate, had to face many a dominating male eyes who looked upon her as an exploitable helpless girl.
Though she managed to escape from the clutches of  dark society, she had to lose it to a rich merchant while a dirty hag dragged her into the red flesh trade.

The place had several brothels ,, adorned with loud music and lights, clamped with the niff of the bad city which considered women more of as a product to be sold . for them the only place for a woman was besides a naked man on the bed and not in his heart or respect

She recollects many a men whom she came across who never repented to strip in the lust of a dirty woman's body just like the bees that hover around the flowers later leaving the flowers pale after sucking out the nectar in it.

Every hour, four women and girls in India enter prostitution, three of them against their will.

They say it is legalized in the country.
But is it really legalized to sell of the minor girls?
yes, thirty percent of the 900000 of the sex workers in India are young girls

There are more than 100,000 women in prostitution in Bombay, Asia’s largest sex industry center.
The reason ranging from poverty, to unemployment and variety of other factors that ultimately lead to children being forced to this inhuman act
One of the most shocking reason that encourages child prostitution is the myth that sexually transmitted diseases are less transmitted in case of a virgin or a minor partner. The fear of HIV/AIDS has increased the demand for virgins and children. Clients mistakenly believe that children have fewer chances of contracting the disease. Similarly there is the myth that a man can rid himself of sexually transmitted diseases if he sleeps with a virgin.
three out of every hundred Indians are AIDS affected and nine out of those ten people are blow 45 years of age.

Even though prostitution is legalised and a woman has entire right to sell her body for money, no one has the right to force young children into this mess
In the largest democracy, where watching porn is not a crime, where every child can access porn over Internet free of cost on mobile or computers, where the law keepers also tend to watch porn during the assembly sessions, where every day news columns are filled with physical abuse and rape news....prostitution may be a least concerned issue in such a country,, but forced child prostitution need to be stopped

Its her age to grow under the shade of a loving father and not between the legs of a cruel man..
Its her age to play with her brother and not to face the lusty eyes of dirty youngsters
Its her age to attend school and not to dance in dimmed red lights

So the change that I wish to bring out is the eradication of child prostitution from the country...A country where no more women have to face the lusty eyes and rude comments....A country where women is respected and her dignity is protected..!
