girls????????????? OOOOOO....ur born to be tortured............!!

Came across the indibloogger  Sets You On Fire!" contest describing  an unforgettable event in your life...

KFC being one of my favorite place to hangout with my buddies.....The tittle itself attracted me to write a post for this contest( yep ,, obviously the gift coupons attracted me more...!!!)

PS: The above picture has no relation to my story... I loved the pic.and posted it here!!!!!!

This is the first incident that came to my mind when I read the topic...
It happened very unexpectedly
on a normal day....

I had the worst experience in my life then....
I have written posts on woman being tortured...eve teased
I have spoke about measures to stop exploitation against woman...
But today i realised that speaking about it hardly contributes towards the end of these practise...
I realized that truth is far different than spoken words...
For the first time in my life,,, I was sorry for being born a girl
I experienced helplessness...

The story starts here...
As usual we were on our way back home from college.........
As usual we friends were together...discussing about everything under the sun..
Immersed in our own world..
Suddenly one of our friends screamed loudly..
All that  we could here were lots of abuses...she could not control herself..and kept on using those harsh words...
She was almost crying...
her voice seemed so painful...
We were left unspoken,,,unaware of what was happening around us......
however she managed to gather some words.her voice still so shrill....she tried to explain the situation...
all that she could do was to point a gang of boys who were pacing across the street....
that was enough for a girl like me to understand...
They had played mischief....
but this time it was against the limit,,,,,
no girl would forgive any guy if he touches her without her permission...and that tooo... if the touch is painful.....if it hurts herrrrr....
whatever the guy did to her.....was just intolerable
She had seen them approaching her......
Once he reached near her...he placed his hands on her chest...it hurt her,,,,,,
though all this happened within seconds...she had to suffer the pain for a long time...any women reading this must have now made wierd faces,,since we understand the situation...

All I can say is....... It was the worst thing that could happen to any girl........
She may quietly suffer the physical pain......but if it hurts her personally.......... if it hurts her mindset..
and then...
It turns worst when the victim denies his act...
One of our male friends rushed behind them...
He asked them politely whereas they deserved none........
they denied..
they were drunk...
They bet him ruthlessly........
and I could do nothing....in fact we girls could do nothing
we were just spectators............
I wished if  I was born a boy....
I could have helped my fellow friend...
and yes...everyday lots of policemen patrol in the area.....
unfortunately there were none on that dayy....

We were so helpless...and the culprits passes away freely...
They had no shame on their face...

So is our society safe for women???

Answering this question is as difficult as turning this society safe for women....
Hope every fathers..every brothers........and every sons..........understand their responsibility to every women............no matter how they are related to them..........

next time when you feel like torturing a girl.......think about your sister being tortured by a devil like you........
think about your mother being eve teased
these thoughts are more than enough to stop the misdeeds....
only if these thoughts are interpreted correctly.........and realisation matters.........

dedicated to to all those girls who had to face the dark clutches of the demon,,,'RAPE'.

no matter what you name it,,, molestation, harassment etc etc. the pain remains the same...for her unknown mistake she is the one disapproved by the society while the demons roam around freely

to all those girls who remain helpless when her prestige an decency gets misinterpreted . Thanks to the eve teasing champions!!!

Name at least one parent who is not worried to allow their daughters move outdoors after 10 in the night, no matter whether it is a city or a village.

I believe that there is no woman in this world who has escaped this disaster. It remains as an unwanted piece of harsh experience in her life.......

  4. My heart goes out to your friend:|

Any touch which is without permission incites disgust and pain if forced and us women have so limited means of reacting!! It's an unfair world indeed.

  5. eve teasing is rampant, it shows the shallowness of a society obsessed with showing off their 'morals' and 'culture' wherever and whenever they can..sad
